Carey Park Golf course is an 18-hole facility that caters to all levels of golfers. In addition to our championship golf course we feature a modern clubhouse that golfers or non-golfers can utilize for various social events like birthday parties or wedding showers. Please call pro shop for details.
Listed by the Kansas City Star as one of the best affordable public courses in Kansas, Carey Park has hosted many KGA, KWGA, and KJGA championships. Home to three high schools and two colleges, Carey Park has for decades hosted the largest High School Tournament in Kansas.
If you are interested in participating in a tournament, we have several to choose from; including four City Championships and several Charity events. If you have a new golf tournament that you like to organize, we can help you with that as well.
Golf tournaments are an excellent way to raise money for charities and other nonprofit organizations. Many players are happy to give to charity especially when they are told that they get to skip a day of work and spend it out on the golf course. These events are also a great way to reunite with old friends for some good old fashioned fun. Another popular reason to have a golf tournament is to boost morale in a given company. A corporate golf tournament can let employees know that the company is serious about providing them with a fun and productive work environment and can boost morale which leads to productivity.
Many of the events will have a number of different prizes and giveaways. Golf tournament gifts and prizes can take on a number of different forms, ranging from new cars to a new set of golf clubs. Most event sponsors will try to give each participant a little something to express their gratitude for playing in the tournament like a simple sleeve of golf balls, shirt, or a hat. In addition to prizes there may also be contests on the golf course during the tournament. A few examples are closest to the pin, longest drive, longest putt.
